TERMS OF SKIP HIRE

Unless we are advised we will automatically collect the skip on the day agreed or the following day- so you do not need to call us to collect your skip unless you wish to extend the hire time. Extension of hiring days are charged for.

PAYMENT TERMS
Payment to our driver at time of delivery by cash or cheque (with a bankers card), or in advance by credit card. If you need to keep the skip longer then as long as you advise us we can collect the additional payment at time of collection.

SAFE ADVICE ON FILLING YOUR SKIPDo not overfill the skip- this is to comply with Health & safety Regulations which is a legal requirement and more important to ensure the safety of others on the road. Do not fill above the top of the sides of the skip and avoid any protruding materials. Any light materials should be weighed down or placed lower in the skip if possible. If the skip is overfilled our drivers reserve the right to refuse to remove the skip until it is made safe. If you order a skip for concrete, soil, clean wood or metal removal please note that if other waste is included in the skip we reserve the right to charge you at our normal skip rate. Please note when ordering a Clean Concrete Skip or Soil Removal Skip if any other waste is included in the skip we will add a surcharge or 20% above the total cost of the skip hire.

ON THE ROAD USE
All skips have end reflectors and lights for on the road use. There is an extra charge for this service and this charge varies according to your local council charges. Please ensure you advise us 3 days before for us to obtain a license. Ask Green Recycling Group for your local rates.

HAZARDOUS MATERIALS
If you have any queries regarding hazardous waste materials then please call us for advice regarding the Poisonous Waste Act 1972, as no poisonous or toxic waste should be deposited in the container.

LATE DELIVERIES & COLLECTIONS BY GREEN RECYCLING GROUP LTD
Please note that when one of our drivers has not delivered within the time specified then it is usually as a result of traffic situations outside our control.
